| Obviously I have a home network. I need all these computers to access the
Internet. I could use a modem, but I hate proxy servers. Unless your getting
your email or surfing the web, your have to fight these damn things in order to
make them work. So I need an ISDN router. |
|
ISDN router prices have dropped and thanks to a co-worker, I was pointed in
the right direction. Buy.Com has a Toshiba for $121.00. That was definitely in
my prices range. They average about $300.
Also, I have all this Ethernet running in 40 different directions. I wanted
to clean it up and get my network ready for my router.

| I have a second phone line that I am converting to my ISDN line, but that was
pieced together in about 5 different places. That's good enough for a modem, but
now I'm going digital, baby. I will replace that line. |
