Part 7 - Change of Plans

Ok... big change of plans. I guess Toshiba expects you to have the phone company install your ISDN line. I guess they weren't thinking of people that want to save $126.00.

When I got the router, the wire that runs from the ISDN wall jack to the ISDN router was an RJ-11 to RJ-45. Which your probably thinking is OK, because that's what I planned for. But the connector on the back of the router is RJ-11. My wall plate is RJ-11. See the problem. Every ISDN router I've seen has an RJ-45 connector on the back.

Well I still have some phone wire, so I make me a new wire with an RJ-11 end on both ends.
