In Network & Dial-up Connections, double click on
Make New Connection. |

The Network Connection wizard will open. |

Choose the option Connect to a private
network through the Internet. |

4)
Now type the IP Address or domain name that you will be making a
VPN connection to. |
 |
 |
5)
Now you can choose if you want this connection to be available
for everyone who logs on your computer or for your profile only.

Now type a name for your connection and click
Finished. |

Now double click your new VPN connection and a username and
password dialog box will open up. If your network is setup on a
domain you will have to go into properties and tell it to
Include Windows logon domain on the Options tab.

Your computer will now connect to the VPN server. |

This message will popup when you are successfully connected. Now
you can look around the network to make sure you have
established a proper connection. |
